Stéphane Soo Mongo is a French actor of Cameroonian origin, born on February 24, 1977. Trained at the Conservatoire Municipal d'Art Dramatique de Paris, he made his television debut in 1995 with Commissaire Moulin, before making a name for himself on the silver screen in Le Ciel, les Oiseaux et... ta mère! (1999). He went on to play supporting roles in films such as Il était une fois dans l'Oued (2004), Neuilly sa mère ! (2009) and Le Crocodile du Botswanga (2014).
On television, he appeared in several French series and played Warrant Officer Alexandre Sainte-Rose in Section de recherches (2014-2022). He received critical acclaim with the Cannes award-winning Rengaine (2012), and recently appeared in Barbaque (2021) and Infiltré(e) (2023).
