Born "Omari Hardwick Latif", grew up in Decatur, Georgia. At the age of 14, Omari began writing poetry, a passion that would bear fruit a few years later.
In high school, he excelled in basketball, baseball and football, where he continued to play until the University of Georgia.
Although he is a star on the court, Omari has never given up his passion for theatre.
