Born on: 22 Dec 1954 , Accra, Ghana  -
Hugh Quarshie is of Ghanaian, British and Dutch descent through his mother. Richard Quarshie emigrated to the United Kingdom with his parents at the age of three. He attended Bryanston School and Dean Close School where he played Othello in the theater, and then studied PPE at Christ Church. Quarshie initially wanted to be a journalist, but then turned to acting. Known for his roles in Highlander and Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. He appears in the series Doctor Who. He also plays Ric Griffin in the hospital series Holby City. |
