Beyoncé Giselle Knowles is the eldest of a family of two children. Her sister is Solange Knowles, born to Tina and Mathew Knowles in Houston, Texas. Her mother being from Louisiana, her parents decided that she would take her mother's maiden name. Her maternal grandparents, Lumis Beyoncé and Agnéz Deréon were French-speaking. At an early age, Beyoncé began singing in her church choir. Her family is very supportive of her musical activities. Her father, Matthew Knowles, is her manager, and her mother, Tina, her stylist. Now an American pop singer, songwriter, producer and actress. Beyoncé became famous through her participation in Destiny's Child, the world's best-selling female group. |
