BIOGRAPHY:
Known in particular for his role as Elijah Muhammad in "Malcolm X" by Spike Lee, Al Freeman started in television in the late 50s and then in cinema in the early 60s.
He rubs shoulders with Frank Sinatra in "The Detective" or Sidney Poitier in "The Lost Man" with turning under the orders of Francis Ford Coppola and Sydney Pollack. On the television side, he played a role for many years in the soap "On ne vit qu'une fois" from 1972 to 1987.
More recently, he has appeared several times in the series "New York - Criminal Investigation".
