Born on: 19 Sep 1979 , Ulis,France  -
Born to a father from Metropolitan France and a mother from Réunion Island, Noémie was discovered by a former model in September 1998, while buying stamps at a local post office. She left a very quiet life in Gif-sur-Yvette to knock on the door of the Ford agency in New York. Her green eyes and wild beauty enchanted the casting directors. It was an instant success: the big photographers snapped her up, and she appeared on the covers of the French and American editions of Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and even the famous Sports Illustrated. Noémie Lenoir also appeared in advertising campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Gap, Gucci and many others. In 2001, she signed a contract with L'Oréal and walked up the steps at the Cannes Film Festival, in the company of Laetitia Casta and Andie MacDowell. She landed a small role in Alain Chabat's Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, alongside Jamel Debbouze, then went on to star in Gomez & Tavares. The supermodel followed this up in 2003 with Coup d'éclat, an American film starring Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek. In 2007, she reunited with Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 3. Noémie is currently the face of Marks & Spencer and is represented worldwide by Elite Model Management. |
