Danny Sapani is an English actor of Ghanaian descent, born on November 15, 1970, in London. Known for his commanding presence on screen and stage, he has appeared in a wide range of productions, from Shakespearean theater to popular TV series. Sapani is best known for his roles in series like Penny Dreadful, where he portrayed Sembene, and The Crown, where he played Kwame Nkrumah. He also appeared in films such as Black Panther (2018), where he played a member of Wakanda's Tribal Council. Trained at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, Danny Sapani is also a celebrated stage actor, having performed with the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Renowned for his powerful voice and ability to bring emotional depth to his roles, he continues to make his mark in film, television, and theater. |
