BIOGRAPHY:

With a career that spans theatre, television and film, Charles S. Dutton is one of the few actors to have been nominated for Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for the same role.

Known for his performance in the comedy-drama “Cookie’s Fortune”. Charles received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Towson State University and made his debut at the Baltimore Theater in plays such as “The Blacks”, “The Great White Hope”.

Years later, he was accepted into the acting class at Yale University where he played roles such as “Othello” and “Baal”. In college he began working with writer August Wilson and director Lloyd Richards, who became his friends and mentors.
