Taral Hicks began her film career with a role in the critically acclaimed 1993 film A Bronx Tale. The roles she played afterwards were: Just Cause in 1995 with Sean Connery and Laurence Fishburne and The Preacher's Wife in 1996 with Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington. She appeared in the film Belly in 1998. She then appeared in independent films such as The Salon in 2005, with Vivica A. Fox, Forbidden Fruits, in 2006 and Humenetomy in 2007.
