Synopsis:
Madagascar, today. Kwame, 20, tries to earn a living in illegal sapphire mines. Following an unexpected event, he must return to his hometown where he reunites with his mother and old friends, but also encounters the corruption that plagues his country. Torn between conflicting emotions, he must choose between easy money and brotherhood, individualism and political awakening.
