Nichelle Nichols commence sa carrière d'actrice dans la série télévisée "The Lieutenant" en 1964. Elle devient Uhura dans la série pour le premier épisode Fausses manœuvres. Après les trois saisons de la série originale, on la retrouve dans les six premiers films. A cote de son métier d'actrice, elle a enregistre des albums, écrit des nouvelles de science-fiction et travaille pour la NASA pour recruter des femmes de minorités raciales. |
