Dania Ramirez is a Dominican-American actress born on November 8, 1979, in Santo Domingo. She moved to the United States as a child and developed a passion for acting, starting her career in music videos before making her film debut in 25th Hour by Spike Lee.
She gained recognition for her standout roles in TV series such as The Sopranos, where she played Blanca Selgado, Heroes, as Maya Herrera, and Devious Maids, portraying Rosie Falta. She later joined Once Upon a Time as Cinderella/Jacinda Vidrio and played a key role in Sweet Tooth on Netflix.
On the big screen, she appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand and Premium Rush, and she also voiced Sheeva in Mortal Kombat 11. Married to director Bev Land, she is the mother of twins.
