Erik King is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of Sergeant James Doakes in the television series Dexter and also known for his role as Moses Deyell in Oz. These early roles were in television series such as Matlock, NYPD Blue and JAG. In 1990 he starred in the short-lived ABC cop series Sunset Beat. On the feature film side, King appeared in the film National Treasure and the thriller Desperate Measures.
