BIOGRAPHY:
Trevante Rhodes' family moved to Texas when Trevante was ten years old. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, he excelled in sports as a 100 and 200 meter sprinter.
In 2009, he won the gold medal in the 4 × 100m relay at the Pan American Junior Track and Field Championships.
In 2016, he will be revealed to the general public for his major role in the film Moonlight by Barry Jenkins.
